I have been practicing dentistry in Los Angeles for over 30 years, and I still enjoy being in a profession that helps others, not only with their teeth, but also with their self-image. I know how important a beautiful smile is to people and how the condition of one's smile can indirectly affect a person's confidence. Through the course of treatment, I have been able to see how something as simple as straightening one's teeth can change a person's outlook on life. Giving my patients the confidence to smile is just one way that I am able to have a positive effect on another person's life.
Participating in continuing education courses allows me to give my patients the best possible treatment with the most stunning results. I take continuing education courses throughout the year in order to stay-up-to-date with the newest techniques and treatment systems.
I maintain memberships with several prestigious dental and orthodontic organizations, including the:
I am originally from Seoul, South Korea, and have lived in Los Angeles for many years now. Growing up in another country, and then moving to America was an eye-opening experience for me. The exposure to different cultures has enriched my life and allowed me to learn new things from those around me.
My wife and I have three children, two sons and one daughter, and are the proud grandparents of one grandchild. When I'm not at the practice, I enjoy golfing, snowboarding, ballroom dancing, traveling, and hiking.
